How do we persuade kids to read more books?
Reading is a good way to widen your vocabulary – in any language.
Daniela Invernizzi, an English teacher at the Bramante school in Magenta, has found a way to encourage her students to read more. After reading a book they create a book trailer, an activity which connects reading to the modern technology that all youngsters love.
So if you want to find out what a book trailer is, come and listen to the students’ project at our next meeting in Casa Giacobbe next Wednesday 18th April. It’s a great opportunity for them and for you!
