Sergio Garavaglia (whom a lot of you know already) will be presenting the evening with his ‘Band of Men’. They will be telling us ‘The Story of Blues’ accompanied, of course, by a few examples of songs originally sung by the black slaves in the Mississippi region of the States at the beginning of the 1900’s. All in English of course!
The meeting will be on WEDNESDAY 18TH JUNE at 9pm in Casa Giacobbe (Magenta) but NOT in our usual room. We have booked the ‘Sala Conferenze’ on the opposite side of the courtyard (the main room o) as we hope to see a lot of you for this last meeting before the summer holidays.
We will also be providing drinks and snacks (as American as possible!) to wish everyone a lovely summer.
